This new information came directly from Heiji. The editorial manager Shingeki no Kyojin he said in an interview in August that the manga should be completed in 3 or 4 years.
It would therefore still 30-45 manga chapters 24 to 27 volumes. and with our experience and a little logic we know that this kind of planning is rarely respected by the mangaka and an excess of a few years is possible.
