After the end of the manga Naruto Shippuden then fan's are in pain and the question are will or not it be a continue to series some speak about Naruto Akippuden others speak about mini episodes like kakashi gaiden and staff but the truth is nobody knows.
The monthly Animedia contains an interview with Hayato Date, Naruto anime director. He announces a special episode of Naruto Shippuden will be released on December 4th. It will focus on Hanabi Hyuuga and tell a story about the two sisters.
This is not the first time the animated devotes a special episode before the release of a film: Pierrot had already done this in July 2012, just before the release of Road to Ninja, with an episode where Sakura of parallel universe was found in the "real" village of Konoha.
Hayato Date also said that the animated series Naruto would continue and that "new developments" would occur after the beginning of 2015.
